"Yira mundo" was composed by Juan Martín Bogado. He composes with his guitar, then creates the MIDI bases on his PC (he uses Cakewalk 9 on Windows 98), but later we imported the .mid file on my PC from Rosegarden and we worked with Musix GNU+Linux, retouching with Rosegarden's Matrix Editor (Documentation) and other tools.
I used Specimen for the piano, Zynaddsubfx for the bass, Qsynth synthesizers for General MIDI percussion and Hydrogen for the main percussion (with the Yamaha Vintage kit).
Then I moved all the tracks to Ardour (Documentation) to feel more comfortable and I recorded his voice and guitar. Then we mixed and used Jamin to master.

This song was made completely with Musix GNU+Linux, using Rosegarden as a MIDI sequencer, Zynaddsubfx as a sound module for melodic instruments and Hydrogen for percussion.
The MIDI tracks were recorded as digital audio and imported from Ardour, where I finished the voices and choruses recording.
Then I mastered in Jamin, connecting Ardour's master channel to its input. This means I had the chance to retouch the mix while mastering.
I'm still not convinced with the mix and masterization you can
hear, but I think that the song is in a good quality level.
